Login and 2 Factor Authentication

Title: Login and Two-Factor Authentication

1. How to Log In:

Click on the ‘Log In’ icon at the top of the Lottoland page. When the login pop-up appears, enter your registered email and password.

Tips:

- Use your registered email address.

- Double-check your credentials.

- Never share your login details with anyone.

2. Why a 6-Digit Code is Required:

For your account security, entering a 6-digit code

may be required under these conditions:

- You are accessing from a new device.

- Cookies have been cleared in your web browser.

- You are using private browsing mode.

This code, part of Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), adds an extra layer of protection. You will receive this code as part of the login process.

Visit the ‘My Account’ section for additional security tools.

3. Not Receiving the 6-Digit Code:

Check your spam or junk folder, as email filters

might redirect these messages. If the code is still missing, retry logging in and ensure your email address is correct.

4. When a Code Isn’t Always Needed:

To simplify logging

in, email verification is only required on new devices, while familiar devices skip this step.

5. Unexpected Code Receipt:

If you get a code without logging in, immediately change your password via ‘Login’ > ‘Reset Password’

and notify Customer Service.

6.Changing Your Email Address:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Go to 'My Profile'.
3. Select 'Edit' in the Account Details.
4. Update your email.
5. Click 'Submit' to save changes.

7. Understanding and Setting Up 2FA:

2FA provides extra protection against unauthorized logins by requiring a second validation method alongside your password. Options include:

- SMS code sent to your phone.
- Google Authenticator App.

Email-based verification is mandatory for new devices.

8. Email-Based 2FA Security:

While email verification is secure, complement it with a strong password and additional 2FA options for enhanced safety.

9.Resetting Your Password:

1. Open the login form.
2. Click on ‘Reset Password’.
3. Enter your email.
4. Click ‘Send reset link’.
5. Check for the email and verify your junk folder if necessary.

10.Updating Your Password:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Go to 'My Profile'.
3. Choose 'Edit'.
4. Input your old password.
5. Type in your new password.
6. Click 'Submit' to confirm.

Regularly changing your password is advised for enhanced security.
